In a rather surprising move, Samsung has just announced a new Galaxy Tab dubbed officially as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. This is probably the first time we’ve heard about this tablet because what we know for a fact is that Samsung is releasing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 soon. Obviously, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is different.

Anyway, scheduled to be released by end of October in Asia, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 sports the same size as the original tab and perhaps the same screen display as well, which is said to be a 7-inch WSVGA(1024X600) PLS LCD. Sorry folks, it’s not Super AMOLED or Super AMOLED Plus. You can also use this device to Install and run Kodi even though I suggest direct Kodi smart tv setup.

Other features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus include:

1.2GHz dual-core processors
Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS
3MP rear camera with AF and LED Flash
2MP front-facing camera
HSPA+ 900/1900/2100
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi
Samsung TouchWiz UX
Samsung App Hubs
1GB RAM
16GB Internal Storage + microSD card support
